Hey there ...

Happy New Year!

It's been a very long time since I blogged. And even longer since I've consistently updated the site. One of my resolutions this year is to make more time for what has been bumped down to like my 5th love, lol ... writing. Journaling, to be more specific. It's always been my outlet, and let me be the first to tell you that I NEED an outlet right about now. So much of my life has changed, that I really just need to sort through everything that I'm feeling and going through. So bare with me as I sort, feel around, motivate, get motivated, inspire while being inspired. All of that and much more. As you know, if you've read my previous posts, I'm a work at home Mommy ☺ So, I will be posting anything I find to help out other moms (or dads) who want to make a living while staying at home with their babies. I'll also still be my same uplifting self! Can't help it, even when I'm going through the ringer myself. It's a part of who I am & I love it, so get used to it.

In the end, all anyone wants to be is happy. But what is happy?! Well, I've learned that happy is different for everyone. You have to decide for yourself and then accept nothing less.

Your Career vs. Your Job

The difference between your job and your career is very simple .... what you do to make money vs. what you do to make you happy. During these trying times it is imperative that you have some type of stable income coming in at all times. That's where the job comes in. Doing something that you wouldn't neccesarily want to do in order to keep the bills up to date. NOW, while financial stability is definitely a top priority, it should never be the your only priority. Staying true to who you are is the basic element in attaining & maintaining true happiness in your life. If you aren't happy with yourself, it's IMPOSSIBLE to be happy with or for anyone else. Doing what you love is something that you should never loose sight of, even if that passion can't completely cover all the bills right now. Make time to do whatever it is that you love, and that JOB won't seem so dreadful for the meantime because it isn't stopping you from being what you want to be. Look at it as a stepping stone ... so many people start off with the right idea and then begin to feel trapped within their surroundings. Feeling like there is no way out, so you complain while remaining complacent. DON'T. It is a trap within itself. If you think that this is it ... guess what?!?!? It is. Nothing will ever be able to hold you back unless you allow it to. In due time that passion will turn into more, simply because you get in what you put out.
