Where's Daddy???

If you follow this blog, you know that the Lewis fam has been in the process of moving to Orlando, FL. Last week, the Hubby packed up just about everything we own and went to set up our new home. For an entire week I was bombarded with, "Mommy, where's Daddy??" atleast 3 times a day!! It drove me up the wall, but I know that they miss him! He's a wonderful daddy and I want the world to know it! There should be more like you, babes!!

{SN: I missed him, too ;-)}

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers that make a way
no matter the circmstance!

Do you have a Plan?!

Do you lead a life filled with all the things you love - including relationships, the career, the hobbies - with energy to spare?! Do you manage the office and the household?! Are you a single girl making it happen for yourself?! Are you doing what you love and loving yourself in the process?!

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are indeed Every Woman!

Being Every Woman simply means that you take on many different hats to fulfill whatever goals you have for yourself and your family. You stop at nothing and allow nothing to block you from living a life you truly love!

So often, we set out to do all the things we love and soon realize that some element suffers, usually ourselves. It doesn't have to be this way and I can show you how you can do & be it all ... and still have time for yourself!
What's Your Plan?

Seriously, take a moment and answer that question. Do you know what it is that you want out of life? Do you know how to go about getting that? Do you know how to organize and maintain everything else in your life so that you actually have time to do & get what you REALLY want?
No? Well then, how do you expect to get what you want? I got this one ... you don't.
It's really very simple. If you have no idea of what you want or how you can get it, chances are you won't get it. It will continue to feel like a dream. Something that you have to be asleep to actually enjoy or even believe in. What you should know is that absolutely A.N.Y.THING that you want in life is possible and the necessary second step is to believe it. When you believe it, you expect it. When you expect it, you align yourself with everything that comes with it.

Notice whats missing yet? ... "IT"

In order for you to believe in something you have to know exactly what "it" is. You have to know that "it" is possible and the only way to do is to figure out how it can be possible.
The absolute first step in getting what you want is to KNOW what you want.
EWNAP focuses on self-love, time management, and goal setting skills to help women clear out mental and physical clutter. This is the only way to figure out and to make room for what you really want in your life!

All Systems Fail ... ASF

Today is starting out to be one of those days ...

My truck's battery stalled because one of the kiddies wanted to play with the overhead lights ...
and left them on.
Mind you, I leave the house @ 5 am.

My phone is going crazy ... constantly sending the alarm off even after I DISMISS it.

My computer is running Xtra slow today {or maybe I'm already on edge & am paying Xtra attention}

It's definitely one of those days that I will have to work Xtra hard to stay positive
and focus on the big picture!

-Deep breath-
WooooSaaaaaa ....

Afterall, I did wake up this morning in Great Health with the people I love the most ...
what more can you really ask for?!?!?

Strictly for the Kid ... in you!

Christmas time always takes me back to a time when life was worry free. My biggest concern was trying to figure out what was underneath the tree for me. Did I get what I really wanted?!?!? It truly is the most wonderful time of year simply because it brings back so many wonderful memories. Family, fun, food and the ultimate selflessness time of the year. When I was a kid the joy was in having time off from school, time with the fam and getting a boat load of gifts that I wanted. Now as an adult my joy is in having time off from work to appreciate ALL the things I work so very hard to maintain ... mainly, my family!! Just imagining the looks on my babies' faces is enough to make me run out in Black Friday traffic! I really can not wait for X~mas day even more so than when I was on the receiving end of the gift giving. Now~a~days the newcomers like Spongebob and Dora are what excites the kiddies. But this time of year also takes me back to the classics that always excited me like Dr. Suess and Mickey Mouse. It's hard to imagine myself as a kid when looking at my babies. But it's true ... before the jobs and bills ... we were all worry free kiddies. This year let's take the time to stop and enjoy our biggest and most valuable accomplishments, Family. Read one of your favorites to your children or watch a movie that seemed so real to you when you were a child with yours. Just take yourself out of the hustle of adult life and celebrate the kid that we all have inside of us.

My Fav of all time!

I am Thankful for ...

My life, first and foremost!
My family
Real Love
Peace of Mind
A job that pays the bills
The opportunity to do what I love
and soooooo much more!
IN LIFE SO MUCH IS TAKEN FOR GRANTED.
TAKE THE TIME TO ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE
VS.
WORRYING ABOUT WHAT YOU DON'T.
Remember: All good things in time & patience is a virtue.

RECESSION PROOF FUN FOR THE KIDDIES

Yes, we all know that times are hard right now , but the kiddies shouldn't have to suffer because of it. There is always something for them to do, and you'd better find a way because they will SERIOUSLY drive you crazy. Here are 10 ways to make sure they get your money's worth of fun during these economically stressful days ...

*Drive in movies*
It usually costs about $4 for adults and kids are free. You can take your own food. PLUS, once they fall asleep {and you know they will} they are already comfortable in their car seats, no lugging required.

*Picnic in the park*
Beautiful view & room to run around ... need I say more.

*Backyard sprinkler fun*
You can set up a slip & slide, usually about $10 or use your sprinkler system at home. If you pay for water you can easily set up a little kiddie pool.

*Take a walk*
Relieve your stress while exhausting their energy. Win, win situation.

*Library*
You can attend Children author readings or create your own by using the audio/book sets in the kid section.

*Arts & Crafts*
Put together puzzles, make bird houses using ice cream sticks, make a mural with washable paint, or create decorations for the holidays. The list goes on and on. See your local craft store for more ideas.

*Train ride*
My family & I recently tried this one for the first time, and I def recommend it. It's was $5 each for the Hubby & I and kids ride free. The kids were glued to the window as all the scenery zoomed by. Of course, everything is a competition, so they tried to beat each other yelling out what they recognized. They had a blast and went straight to bed when we got home. ;-) You see my pics from that trip here.

*Wii*
My 3 year old plays better than everyone in the house, so it's def kid friendly. We love it, and it really does take up a lot of time once you get wrapped up in it. Some options include family bowling night, boxing night, baseball night ... we even have a puzzle game that we can use our own pictures on.

*Bake together*
Kids love to help out and they will love to decorate and eat the frosting!!

*Let the kids chose an activity*
You'd be surprised what kids come up with to do. Have you ever watched your children play?? They can seriously go all day doing the most basic activities, and have a blast while doing it. Trust that you will be exhausted but you will laugh none stop!!!

Feel free to post any of your own ideas or your experiences using the ones I've posted!!!

Fam Pics

The Hubby & I decided to take the kiddies on their very first train ride yesterday. They had a blast trying to call out everything they recognized outside the window while on the train. We rode up to WPB, where one of my Besties stay. Did a little eating, site seeing, & shopping. Here are some of the pics for your veiwing pleasure ...

Damn ... is it August already?!?!?!?

Where does the time go???? It seems like just yesterday I was hand feeding my daughter because she couldn't do it by herself, now she's running around telling me what she will and won't eat!!! This year has truly flung by. Soon it'll be time to start all over with a brand new year. I must say, I'm looking forward to it. Next year I'll be 25, officially a grown ass woman ... not to down play the fact that I've been holding down a full fledge family for 3 years now and have been on my own since 17. At 25 you really have no excuses not to have the life you really want or at least KNOW the life you want and have a plan on how to get there. It's waaaay too late to blame it all on Mommy and/or Daddy and hopefully you are past the days of 'blaming it on the alcohol'. It's definitely time to take a seat and access where you are and where you're going. This week I'm on Vacay ... so I'll have plenty of time to plant some of the seeds I plan to cultivate throughout the next five years and the rest of my life. So much I want to do ... I love new beginnings!!! Be back very soon ...
